Moved to new home kGSKErrorDomain error -83902. Nest Hub Issue

Hi all,

For the life of me I can't set up my google nest hub in my new home but I've moved to a new broadband company. It previously worked in my previous home with an iPhone so it's not an Apple issue. Actions I've already tried:

  1. Reset the device to factory setting
  2. Redownloaded the app on my phone
  3. Deselect and select local network button via the app setting
  4. Re-signed in with google account but still no avail.

With all of these actions, I keep getting to the very end until I reach the google assistant section and it says this (kGSKErrorDomain error -83902.)

I've been looking at FAQs but no avail. I'm hoping someone has an answer for me 🙂

It sucks because this device is under a year old, so kind of waste of money if it no longer works 😞 PS I live in Australia and bought this device here.

UPDATE: So randomly last night while I was preparing to go to bed (around 10:30pm), the device magically connected to my phone and I was able to use my google nest hub. I was so happy I played music etc for a good 20 minutes before going to bed. Then when I woke up this morning at around 6am, it disconnected sometime during the night and asked me to link. So I'm back to the last section (google assistant) with the Error 83902. I factory reset the device again but still have the error coming up. So I don't know what's happening to it 😞

Other ways I've tried is to change region to the US, this didn't work for me either.
