Multiple Spotify Accounts on Multiple Google Homes

We have a Google Home, two Home Minis, and a Google Assistant-compatible alarm clock (unsure of brand). I have Spotify Family account and created logins to be used on each speaker knowing that music could not be played from the same account on two devices. All the speakers were working flawlessly (each child could be playing their own music in their respective room) until about 4-5 months ago. Suddenly whenever a child would ask for music it would stop playing on the others Mini. I went through and disconnected the accounts for each speaker and re-logged in, but the problem persists. 

Also, each kids speaker is in its own Home in the Google Home app. 

Would greatly appreciate help correcting this!

Hey Hockynut23,

 

Apologize for the delays. Please ask your kids to remove voice match from all devices, then retrain their voice again. Follow the steps below to know-how:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Home > SettingsGoogle AssistantVoice Match.
  3. Tap "Remove all Voice Match from all your devices." Once done, retrain their voice.
  4. Reboot the speaker then check if the speakers will have the same behavior.
