My Google Assistant has sound when I ask a question. But no volume when the new s is playing.

When I ask the Google Assistant a question I hear volume. But when the news is playing there is no volume. Just started a few days ago.

• What device is this post in regard to? (model name, generation number)
• Is this a new issue? Did your device play the news with volume before?
• Does your device play sounds for other types of media besides the news? (YouTube, Spotify, Pandora, etc.)
• What news app are you using?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? (reboot, reset) If so, what have you tried?
