My google home display stopped working

Our nest hub display was left by the previous owner of our home. We got it set up in February after finding in a drawer. It worked great and didn’t have any issues with it until about a month ago the device just completely turned off and stopped working. I’ve tried holding the button on the back for 10 seconds and it does nothing. I’m at a loss🤷🏻‍♀️ We really enjoy using the nest hub display and are sad it stopped working.

This happened to a lot of people last fall, the screen just went white. Many conversations on here with no response from Google. Congrats you now have a $200 (though free to you) paperweight.

So disappointing.

Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should, and we appreciate the troubleshooting that you did. A few questions: are you still using the original power cord? Is the power cord damaged? Have you tried plugging it into another working power outlet? If you have another Google Nest Hub, you can try to use its power cord and observe if it makes a difference.

Regards,

Juni
