My nest mini not connecting

I have bought 2 google nest minis. When I try connecting them I get this error.

speaker is connected to your Wi-Fi network, but we were unable to determine if a Google Account was already linked.

i have tried different accounts and factory reset. Different wifi settings and nothing is working. When I do manage to get into the speaker settings it says the account is connected to me but the speaker just keeps saying something is not right.

I'm sorry you're running into this situation with your 2 Nest Mini. I understand how frustrating it can be when your devices aren't working as expected.

Check which Google Account is linked to a speaker or display

  • Open the Google Home app.
  • Tap Favorites  or Devices.
  • Tap and hold your device's tile.
  • Tap Settings, Recognition & sharing.
  • Under Linked accounts(s), you'll find the Google Account(s) linked to this specific device.

Different Account: While you've tried different accounts, ensure you're using an account that hasn't been previously linked to the Nest Mini.. If you suspect someone else might have set it up before, try creating a new Google account specifically for your smart home devices.
