I have just purchased a Nest 2nd gen, and I have a premium Calm subscription, but I am not seeing the full Calm library content on my Nest device.

Hi @Costco2023

Calm may not have their full library available for your Nest device. I would reach out to Calm's support and see what they have made available on this device. Calm did have an action to "talk to Calm" but that was recently depreciated.

Hi everyone,

We appreciate your help here, @JillG.

@Costco2023, I'm chiming in to ensure you've got the answer you're looking for. You can also check Conversational Actions are going away for more information about Calm’s integration. In line with this, we want to encourage you to send feedback from your end, and we’re hoping for all the possibilities by taking our users' feedback and suggestions. Let us know if you have additional questions; otherwise, we'll be locking the thread within 24 hours.

Best,
Alex

Hello Alex_S, I appreciate the additional information.  While I think I understand what is meant by "conversational actions are going away" I am still confused as to why the Calm App is still accessible from my Nest Hub 2 (on screen) but I do not have access to the full content library that I have paid for. I apologize but the link to "Calm's Integration" you provided does not really tell me how the app interacts with my devices.  It's says smart display in the list? Even the content around conversational actions I still find a bit confusing.

Hello Costco2023,

Calm’s integrated action to Google Assistant is only the “Talk to..” command. Unlike the integrated third party apps that Google Assistant has full control, “Hey Google, talk to Calm” will only redirect Google Assistant to Calm’s portal. The Calm app may still be visible from your display, but the recent update about Conversational Actions mentioned “Things that you could do with phrases like “Talk to…,” for games, stories, and education, will no longer be available.”.

You can reach out to Calm support for further information about their integration.

Kind Regards,
Alex
