Nest Audio Speakers

Just set up 3 Nest Audio Speakers. When I originally set them up I could go into Home app and control music and choose which speakers I wanted to be playing. Now 3 days later I can't do any of that and don't know how this happened. Only thing I did was try different music sources other than default of Spotify. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi D-Rock72,

That's not exactly the experience we want you to have with your 3 Nest Audios ― let's get this resolved.

Usually if you're not able to see the device settings from your Google Home app is either your phone and your Nest devices are on a different Wi-Fi network, especially if you have a band steering frequency in which your router can automatically switch from 2.4 GHz 5 GHz depending on the strength at that time. Or, if you're not in range form your Wi-Fi.

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Tell me how it goes.

Best,

Dan

Hey there,

I wanted to follow up and see if you are still in need of any help. Have you had the chance to try the suggestion above? If yes, how is it?
