Nest Hub 2nd Gen lock screen

How do I lock the screen or create a custom downtime. Currently I can only set the same downtime for each day of the week - I would like to have, for example, downtime during working week 18.00 to 08.30 and all day Saturday and Sunday!

Hi KeithH,

Thanks for reaching out.

To further help you with your concerns, I'd like to know if this has been working before when you first use it? If yes, how long does it work?

Let's follow these steps so that we can make sure that every settings are correct.

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Settings   Digital Wellbeing  Set up. You can set up Filters or skip to Downtime setupIf you’ve previously set up Filters, under "Downtime," tap New schedule.
  3. Follow the in-app steps to schedule Downtime.

To change Downtime schedule:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Settings  and then Digital Wellbeing.
  3. Tap the schedule that you want to change.
  4. Turn off your schedule or make changes, and then tap Save.

Let me know if these steps worked.

Princess

I wanted to be able to set 2 different downtime patterns- one for weekdays and the other for the weekend.  Doesn't seem possible

Hi KeithH,

Thanks for responding.

Yes, you can set downtime schedules and change the days and times that it runs. Let's make sure that it has been set up correctly and if possible, let's try to use a different set up device to see if the options are still the same when you initially set up the downtime features.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Princess
