So I went through the setup in the google home app to set content restrictions on our Nest Mini speakers and Hub, but I was only able to select the 3 speakers in our home group. The Nest Hub Max was nowhere to be found.
Do the Digital Wellbeing settings apply to the Hub automatically or is there an issue that I need to solve for?

No error message. Nothing comes up for the hub, just the nest mini devices.
I’ve restarted the hub, my phone, and the app, but nothing seems to work so far.

Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with this, but thanks for letting me know what you've tried. If you have already done a factory reset on your Nest Hub Max, then I would suggest trying that again, as that should fix the issue that you're having. With you not receiving any error messages, it is strange. I would suggest reviewing this article to see if it is being set up correctly.
