Nest Hub, wow, does it do anything?

I gotta say, I cant get message notifications, no drive support (in what way is that even possible?), no whats app support. I cant even see a few days of my calendar. If I wanna see whats happening for the week? nope, google laughs at me.  Right now i have a picture frame, and a controller for my thermostat. and thats it. 

I love most of my google products, but this is simply not very useful.

We're sorry to hear about your experience with Google Nest Hub. I'd like to know more about this so we can sort this thing out. Are you referring to the notifications sent on your phone when using the Google Nest Hub? If yes, can you please check these settings? 

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap Settings   Notifications.
   • If push notifications are not enabled in your phone's settings, a banner will appear at the top of the screen. To turn on push notifications in your phone's settings, tap the link in the banner and follow the steps.
3. Select General notifications.
4. Turn any notifications on or off.
   • If you turn on critical alerts, but they’re not enabled in your phone’s settings, a banner will appear at the top of the screen. To turn on critical alerts in your phone’s settings, tap the link in the banner and follow the steps.

The notifications I am specifically looking for are :Messages (which google knows about since I'm a google phone user). and What app. its why i bought the device. So I can have my phone on silence while working on zoom calls, but have a notification. If i could see calls come in, even better.   I see in General Notifications I have calls and messages enabled, but they will not show on the nest hub.
