Hello, I have 4 TVs in my house and use the nest mini to do voice commands and routines on all of them and for the most part it does good, but it does have issues with doing voice commands on the living room TV for some reason. I'll ask it to "turn up the volume or turn it down" and in reply I get one of 2 responses.
1. I need to know which device you want to do that with?
2. It will ignore the request and turn down the volume on the speaker itself.
I have each room named Master, 2nd Bedroom, Office, Etc.. I'll even say, " Google, turn down the volume on the living room tv." In which it'll give me the above responses..
2nd Issue. Why does Google Nest always say, " I don't understand?" to questions I can type into the google search and the answer will come up.
3rd Issue.. I have a Samsung 65TU7000 smart tv in the living and google nest like I said above will turn in/off or volume up and down, pause, play, etc on voice commands, sometimes lol, but when I ask it to open a certain app like, Hulu, Disney, You Tube, it'll say the" TV does not have that functionality" I talked with both Samsung and Google and belive it might be a app needed on the tv but not sure. I can open apps on my Vizio, Onn Roku, but the nest mini won't open apps on the Samsung 65tu7000
