Nest Mini Unlinks each 20 hours

Good Afternoon,

Since 1 month ago my Nest Mini device suddenly decided to Unlink itself from Google Home. I never had this issue before in the 2 years i am using the Nest Mini. When this issue appears i linked it to Google Home via the following different actions:

1. Factory Reset and set it up as a new device.

2. just adding it to google home again, as the Nest Mini is still in Google home, but not attached to a groud (unlinked)

Reading all kind of posts on the internet i also decided to switch of firmware updates as people think the device tries to update and fails.

All of these actions did not had any positive results, my device will unlink after +/- 20 hours. This is pretty anoying as i use the nest mini to swich on my lights etc.

Can you please advise me what to do?

Hi there,

That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. Let’s further look into it. Open the Google Home app > Favorites > Tap the bell icon at the top right. Do you see a history or event about your Google Nest Mini device being removed from your home? Also, kindly provide the Cast firmware version of your Google Nest Mini device.
