The sound on my mini will not turn up. The phone says it’s at 100 but only a faint sound is coming from the device. I used the touch volume buttons and it seems like it is at 100, but the sound is faint at best. The device is straight out of the box. How can I correct this?

I am having g the same issue and volume level continues to drop. Although my volume is at 100%, white noise sound only plays at 60 decibel right next to the speaker. It used to be 60 decibel at 90 percent volume. I have several nest mini and volume is dropping in all of them starting 1/13 and getting worse. Definitely not an hardware problem. Can someone from google respond?

Hey folks,
Thanks for sharing details regarding this issue and apologize for the late response.
I know how annoying it is when you're having an issue with the speaker volume - we'd love to help. A few questions - is the issue isolated on playing music only, or does it also affect the volume of the Assistant Voice? Does it happen on all media services like radio, podcast, and news? What is the current firmware version of your speaker?
Please try to set up one of your speakers on a different network, like a mobile hotspot, to check if you have the same issue. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one serves as a router and the other to be used to setup up your Google Nest Mini).
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers,
Muddi

No, my issue is not fixed and that article explains why. Can you advise on what you can do about it?

That is not even a clear explaniation of why in the first place.....I can't hear the volume at all when playback on my Nest Camera History. Your engineers forget to place some audio components in the the device...DAAAA
I have had this issue from day one and now playback NO VOLUME.....CHEAP
