Nest Mini issue

When I use my google home network and say "broadcast to ..." The next thing is says is what's the message. But when I want to broadcast to a specific home mini, it says "broadcasting now" and does not ask me the message is. I changed the device name on each home mini. My kids have minis in their rooms so I would like to broadcast to separate rooms.  Thanks

Hi map1072,

When I use this feature I don't pause after saying "broadcast to <room name>" and just say the whole command continuingly. Saying it with a pause is instructing the device to broadcast the message "room name" to all speakers.

Try saying "Broadcast to <room name><message>" without waiting for the device to ask you for the message.
