Hi, it is 14 Nov 2025. I have read the suggestions on old threads, and I have performed each one. Factory reset. Unplug and plug in both the router and the Nest. Even made a new google home on the app. Yes, I moved, and after a factory reset, it worked for a while, but was never recognizable on Bluetooth settings. The only way to play my spotify playlists on it was to tell it to play what my phone was playing. This is bizarre, and since this is a frequent topic of concern, purchasing another of the nests doesn't seem to make any sense. How can this be solved?

The one suggestion I had not tried was to delete the google home app and reinstall it. Again, it is not able to detect the Nest Mini.

Hello @Maggie16,
Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you are having an issue where your Nest Mini keeps repeatedly asking you to "log in to the Google Home app," despite working for a while after you moved and performed a factory reset. I acknowledge that you have already completed extensive troubleshooting. Let me help you with this.
We need to address the two core problems simultaneously: the login prompt (account) and the Bluetooth failure (device state).
Step 1: Check and Re-link Voice Match and Personal Results
The "log in" prompt often means the Nest Mini has recognized your voice but failed to authenticate your account for personal results (like Spotify playlists), which is tied to Voice Match.
Step 2: Check Bluetooth Pairing and Status
The inability to see the Nest Mini in Bluetooth settings is unusual for a factory-reset device.
Please try Step 1 (especially retraining Voice Match) and Step 2 (forcing Bluetooth pairing).
Could you also confirm what color the lights on the top of the Nest Mini display are when you say the "Hey Google" wake word? This might indicate a hardware status.
Regards,
Kevin
