I play a 12 hours podcast episode of white/brown noise to help me sleep at night, but for some it seems that the nest speaker stops after about 2 hours into the episode.
I use the Spotify app on iOS to play the episode and connect to the speaker from the Spotify app. When I woke up the app was disconnected from the speaker and the episode only played about 2 hours.
Is there a way to keep it connect through the night and so it won't stop playing? or another way to have it play the episode / music I want from spotify through another app or option.
thanks

Hi just_eyal,
Thanks for responding. Could you please try to play a podcast and as soon as it starts playing, say the command "Ok Google, set sleep timer to 8hours". Let's check if this command will let you continue playing the podcast on a specific number of hours you want to listen.
Keep us posted.

Princess

Hey @Muddi & @Princesss,
Thank you for taking the time to reply and help.
The issue have not been resolved yet.
The Nest stops playing after a couple of hours no matter what I play from Spotify, music or podcast.
As for sleeper time, I have the microphone turned off on the Nest, so I can't use the command you suggested.
Although I did try to set up a sleep timer through the Spotify app, and it didn't help either.
Any other ideas I should try?

Hi just_eyal,
We've heard feedback that turning off sleep sounds after 1 hour was insufficient for some of our users, so we made the decision to remove the end time. We're currently investigating ways to build a comparable solution and appreciate your patience.

Princess

Hey @Princesss
Thank you for your response, but I must admit I didn't understand it.
Can you please further explain?
Why is it currently stoping if I play a podcast episode that is 12 hours long (but the podcast is only white noise)
And are you saying there is currently no solution for it?

Hi just_eyal,
Sorry for the confusion. I believe Pricesss is talking about the recent changes on sleep sounds feature on routine. Could you tell us the title of the podcast that you're having an issue with. Also, are you experiencing the same issue with other podcast?

Muddi
