I have a Nest Hub and three Nest Minis in my house.
If I start listening to say, BBC Radio 2, on the Nest Hub in my bedroom and say "Hey Google, transfer to Family Room (which has a Nest Mini) this works fine.
I can then walk into the family room and say "Hey Google, transfer to Studio" this also works okay and the music stream continues on the Nest Mini in the studio.
However, if I start listening to the radio in the family room and say "Hey Google, transfer to studio" it says it is going to do that but never does and reverts to playing on the family room speaker.
Has anybody encountered this issue and, better still, found a way to fix the problem? It's a PITA to have to always go to the bedroom to start the streaming audio for this facility to work correctly.

Hiya Tattz!
Do you know what version of the nest mini you have? To see if the feature is supported on the nest mini, please see: Move media from one cast device to another - Android - Google Nest Help
The link does cover voice control 🙂 I hope this helps, it could be that the device doesn't support that feature.
Let me know how you get on!

Hi code_
The devices are all Nest Mini 2nd Generation. Details as follows:
Google Nest Mini – Office
System Firmware: 375114
Cast Firmware: 2.57.375114
Google Nest Mini – Studio
System Firmware: 375114
Cast Firmware: 2.57.375114
Google Nest Mini – Family Room
System Firmware: 384934
Cast Firmware: 2.58.384934
Could the fact that the last one appears to have different firmware be an issue?

The link takes me to Google Chat but I then get a message to say that I do not have permission to view this chat!? You may needto look at your settings.
