Going through the Google Home setup and the Nest WiFi hub isn’t connecting to the internet. It asks me to disconnect my modem, but I don’t have a modem. My Ethernet comes straight from my Ting fiber connection. I had this setup with my previous Samsung SmartThings and it worked fine. I even plugged my old SmartThings in and it worked fine.
How do I get the hub to see the internet?

Hello JohnnyK16,
Thanks for reaching out to the Nest Community. We're happy to help you set up your Nest WiFi Router.
Please follow these steps:
If possible, verify that Ting has provided a signal receiving device. It is common for them to install a device where the Ethernet cable is connected. Once you locate it, disconnect it. This will effectively reset your connection from Ting's end.
Power cycle and factory reset the Nest WiFi Router: Unplug the power from your Nest WiFi Router and plug it back in, then perform a factory reset on the Nest WiFi Router.
Check the Ethernet Connection: Ensure that the Ethernet cable coming from the device is securely plugged into the WAN port of the Nest WiFi Router.
Please keep me posted. I look forward to your response.
Regards,
Kevin
