Nest audio can’t reset and non-reaponsive

Having the same issue as this thread Pandarama where can’t reset the nest audio speaker device, who linked to another thread with same issue.

My Nest Audio is having the exact same issues as this person:

It turns on with 2 lights, will do the light cycling for a minute, then turn off. Can't do a regular reset, so have done the 10x hard factory reset 4 times now, and it still does the same thing. Tried plugging it directly into the wall instead of a splitter, nothing. Tried a friend's Nest Audio power cord, nothing.

Is it bricked? The device is around or under 2 years old.
