Nest audio playing wrong version of song

I've got a Google nest audio for Christmas and have been enjoying messing about with it over the past 24 hours. 

But I'm having some issues with playing music on it via my default music provider Apple music.

 

Issue 1:

Today I requested to play a red hot chili peppers album, after a few songs I wanted to change the mood so I asked Google to play a different artist. Google nest audio registered my request and repeated it to me but then continued to play the red hot chili peppers song it was already playing.  I tried requesting a different artist, again it registered and repeated my request to me, but then continued to play red hot chili peppers. 

 

I then just turned the song off on my Google home app.

 

Issue 2:

I have requested Google nest audio to play some songs ie a song called house party by Fred Wesley. The request is registered and repeated but then the song that plays is a lesser known live version of the song with featuring artists that I've never heard. The same happened today when I requested water no get enemy by Fela Kuti and Google offered up a variation of the song that I've never heard before. 

After searching for these songs on Apple music, both of the songs that Google played were significantly far down the search results. I'm unsure why the original or top result isn't played? It is if I request it on my phone but not my nest audio?

 

All of this is incredibly frustrating as playing music is one of the main features I'm after in owning this product. Any tips or advice in how to solve these issues is greatly appreciated.
