Nest display blacked out with green lines

I have a google nest hub. I bought it at Walmart about three months ago. I was away for two weeks on a trip and came home. The screen was black with some green horizontal lines. I tried doing a factory reset but the screen came back the same so there is no QR code to scan. Is this fixable or is the display broken already?

Hi Scrappydo,

I’m sorry to hear about what happened with your Google Nest Hub device’s screen. Kindly share a photo showing the green lines on its screen so we can further look into it. Also, how did you do the factory reset?

Alex

It says I go not have permison to upload an image 🤷‍♀️ but it looks like this image kind of but mine is black and green https://images.app.goo.gl/Yme6vnZcrzd8fPKg8

and I did the reset by holding down the back two volume buttons and now it wants me to scan a QR code on a screen that is not working 🤷‍♀️ or enter a number on the device that I do not see 🤷‍♀️

I have heard nothing, should I assume this display will never work again?
