Nest hub 2nd gen freezes and lags when streaming from Maxi-Cosi baby cam

Hi community,

I recently purchased a nest hub 2nd gen to use it as a screen for my Maxi-Cosi See baby cam. There are basically 3 issues I've seen: 1) the camera feed closes and goes back to the photo frames, 2) the image freezes and lags several seconds [e.g. Camera is showing 14:14:20 and freezes over completely or after some seconds jumps to 14:14:40] - This being the most common issue or 3) video disconnect and shows "this feed is unavailable". What bothers me the most is that streaming on any other device (Pixel 6, iPhone, and iPad) works perfectly fine. This includes both maxi-cosi app and google home.

This can only lead me that the problem is on the cast for the nest hub. Am I missing something here? Is there something that I am supposed to do or did wrong?

My nest hub firmware is:

System firmware: 324896

Cast firmware: 1.56.324896

Thanks

Hi rafaelcbfc,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

We're sorry to hear about this experience on your newly purchased Google Nest Hub. I also appreciate all the details you've shared. Could you tell us the distance between your Google Nest Hub from your router? Also, rebooting your network might help fix this as it would eliminate network congestion and refresh your network settings.

Let us know if these steps work.

Best,

Princess
