Nest hub 2nd gen freezes and lags when streaming from Maxi-Cosi baby cam

Hi community,

I recently purchased a nest hub 2nd gen to use it as a screen for my Maxi-Cosi See baby cam. There are basically 3 issues I've seen: 1) the camera feed closes and goes back to the photo frames, 2) the image freezes and lags several seconds [e.g. Camera is showing 14:14:20 and freezes over completely or after some seconds jumps to 14:14:40] - This being the most common issue or 3) video disconnect and shows "this feed is unavailable". What bothers me the most is that streaming on any other device (Pixel 6, iPhone, and iPad) works perfectly fine. This includes both maxi-cosi app and google home.

This can only lead me that the problem is on the cast for the nest hub. Am I missing something here? Is there something that I am supposed to do or did wrong? I tried already restarting my network and changing priority to the hub but it didn’t work.

My nest hub firmware is:

System firmware: 324896

Cast firmware: 1.56.324896

Thanks

Hello rafaelcbfc,

My apologies for the late response. I know how important it is for you to be able to monitor your child by streaming the security camera on your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen). Please note that Maxi-Cosi See baby cam is not compatible to stream on the Nest Hub, that's why you're experiencing issues when streaming it on the Nest display. Visit this link for the lists of compatible security cameras. As an alternative, you can stream your camera on a cast-enabled TV using voice commands. Click here to know more.

We're always looking for ways to add more security cameras that can be streamed on the Nest display — we'll take this as feedback. You can also send feedback using your device by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback." Visit this link for more steps.

Let us know if you have additional concerns or questions about your device, otherwise, we'll lock the thread after 24 hours.

Cheers,

Muddi
