Nest hub 2nd in the morning (after a night of no use) does not wake up after touching the screen (when I say "ok, google" it works). The second screen works normally in the morning (after a night of no use).

  • After you say 'Ok, Google', does your Nest Hub (2nd gen) function normally?
  • Did you perform any troubleshooting?
  • Did you have Wi-Fi issues recently?
  • When you use the screen, is there any time during the day it doesn't work correctly?

Hello, after saying ok google works normally. During the day there are no problems, there were no problems with wi-fi.

I would like to inform you that in this case, the way your Nest Hub (2nd gen) has been behaving is appropriate, because this device is designed so that when it is in a room without much light or when it spends the night without use, it tends to have no reaction. For that reason, if you want to keep the screen always on, Get started with Google Photos.

Thanks for the response. I'm just wondering why my second NestHub 2gen works normally after a night and starts up after touching the screen (same settings for both hubs).

Thank you very much for this information. Since you have 2 Nest Hub (2nd gen) devices with the same settings as you mentioned, in this case, it would be necessary to perform a factory reset to be able to set up the device again and verify what is happening.

Hi @EduardoN

unfortunately resetting the device did not fix it. In the morning I cannot wake up the screen by touching it. The other Nest hub wakes up normally in the morning when I touch it
