Nest hub - doorbell camera feed is not available

I just purchased a Nest wired doorbell and immediately ran into the problem with the Nest app showing the video feed but no video is shown in either Google home app or on the Nest hub.

of the solutions previously suggested on any forums fixed my problem but I did however find a solution that worked immediately that I'd like to share:

1. Create a new google account
2. Add the nest doorbell to the nest app using the new google account
3. Create a new home with the google home app
4. Add the nest doorbell to that home
5. Verify that you can now see the video from the nest doorbell in the Google home app
6. Add your previous/existing google home account by inviting it to the new one sharing all resources - done!

Worked for me on the very first try.
I guess that I'll move the remaining devices, of which I have a lot, to the new account at some point but I really don't see the need for it other than the convenience of having only one Nest/Home account.

Also: If your home assistent is not really using the language selected.. (counter intuitive) just add another language, that will apparently remind the assistent of the default one...

I hope this helps just one person out there, who's ready to chug that *** doorbell out the window like I was.
