Nest hub max assistant voice volume too low. If turn it up all other audio is then too loud.

The assistant voice is much lower than all other audio. It seems like a bug in the software. Volume control doesn't solve the problem as the ratio remains unbalanced.

Also there should be a way to stop the assistant from confirming requests, especially at night when turning off lights. It wakes others up and is unnecessary. Voice response is about 3 seconds delayed from turning off lights, ie, lights go off then then the voice days, okay turning off light, etc.

Hi Chuckw,

This is not the experience we wanted you to have, let me help you. A few things: aside from your Nest Hub Max, which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers then your smart lights.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Tell me how it goes.

Best,

Dan
