Nest hub not answer the wheather

Hello, my Google Nest Hub replies “I don’t know” when I ask “what is the weather today” or when I click on the weather on the display, however when I ask what is the weather in a specific city it works well also when I ask my address it show the correct one. Could someone help me with that?

 

Things that I have tried:

Factory reset;

Google home app uninstall;

Set my home address on Google Maps and Google Home;

Thanks for visiting the Community. 

 

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing that with your Google Nest Hub. Could you tell us how many Google Nest speakers are set up in your network? Is it the only one that you're having issues with?

 

Since you have tried some of the troubleshooting steps, can you try moving the speakers closer to the router and before doing so, let's reboot your network simply by unplugging your router from the power source for at least a few minutes to refresh your network settings and avoid network congestion. Let's see if this would make any changes on its behavior.

Hello mate,

I have just the Nest hub, no more speakers and it is around 2 meters from my network device.

 

still with the issue after what you asked, however I noticed that the dates are in spanish, but my language is set to english as I’m from Portugal and we dont have the portuguese option.

I tried to add a photo, but is too big, but basically the things relates to clock are in spanish and the other stuff on english.

Chiming in, thanks for trying. Let's go ahead and try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Nest Hub). Once done, check if your device will have the same behavior.

Hello Muddi, I tried your aproach and didn’t work. I’m really upset with it already,  I already spent hours for a simple whats the weather today!

 

It’s full english, but doesnt work!

So I just discovery that if I say what is the weather at my house it works, but it still not solve.

Hello Muddi, yes I still have, as a developer I cant let it close, lol, but when I ask what is the weather at my house it works, when I ask what is the weather today or what is the weather tomorrow, it doesn’t work.

 

so my guess is that the issue is that the nest doesn’t know where it is.
