Our hub will randomly light up bright white in the middle of the night around 3am. I usually have insomnia so many times I am awake when it happens. There's no movement or anyone else awake, other times it wakes me up when I'm blessed enough to fall asleep... I've checked all the settings and nothing is on to make it do this. any suggestions? ?

We're having the same issue

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for reaching out.
When did the issue start to happen? Have you already tried to perform a complete reset on your Google Nest Hub? If not, let's try that out to see if that would make any changes on its behavior.
Lastly, please provide the cast firmware version of your Google Nest display so we can further check.
To check the firmware version:
Keep me posted.

Princess

I'd say it started 2 to 3 months ago and we have reset it several times.
It's not an every night issue.
Recently I've turned the brightness all the way down so it hasn't waken me this week.
Cast firmware 1.56.291758

Hi everyone,
Thanks for responding. I appreciate all the details you've shared.
@Akajester - Please continue to monitor your Google Nest display's behavior and let us know if you encounter the same thing so we can further check.
@KnS - Let's also check its ambient and display settings making sure that the brightness set are correct. Lastly, let's continue to monitor its behavior and let us know right away if the issue remains the same.

Thanks for the response. I'm on System firmware 4.20210608.1.1146075. Cast firmware 1.56.291758. I did a factory reset, added it back to home and so far we haven't noticed the issue again. It could be fixed or it could be a little early to tell. Thanks.

I haven't noticed thishappening lately, though I did turn the screen where I can't see it well from my pillow.
