Nest mini 2 disconnects by itself

So basically every 3 am or so when i wake up the nest mini it says "Please log in through the google home app" and when i check the notifications of the Home app it literally says device disconnected when i never even entered the app and when i reconnect it's on a screen where it says connecting or something and then it says couldn't connect to nest mini but it works like nothing even happened until it disconnects at nighttime again. It's so annoying and i've been searching countless times solutions without any of them working, including the factory reset. Please help.

Hi Lodrex,

I’m sorry to hear that your Nest mini 2 is disconnecting by itself constantly at nighttime. I understand how frustrating it’s been for you to try countless times troubleshooting steps without finding a solution for this inconvenience. No worries, help is here.

Before I start further troubleshooting, let me ask you a few questions:

  • How long did the Nest mini 2 work before the connectivity issue started?
  • How long did the issue persist before it started to work again?
  • Are there other speakers in the home?
  • Is it a single speaker or in a stereo pair?
  • Is it grouped with other first-party or other third-party devices?"
    • If not, are other speakers configured any differently or placed differently?
  • What's the Firmware version of the affected speaker and other speakers in the home?
  • Are you using a single router or multiple access points?
  • What’s the location of the affected speaker in relation to the WiFi access points or routers?
  • Have there been any recent changes to your environment, such as a change in WiFi network or recent outages?
  • What WiFi frequency band do you try to connect your Nest Protect and your mobile device to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?

Thanks for your kind attention; I will be looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Virna

My grandfather found it and gave it to me so i don't kniw for how long the problem was ocurring do that's maybe why they even got rid of it. No, there's no other speakers at home and its singular. The system firmware is 456944. I share wifi with my neighbor so there'e a bit fo a distance but my other devices connect fine, and no, no sudden changes. And i have no idea what a Nest Protect is.
