Nest mini (gen 2) disconnects daily

My nest mini disconnects at least once a day. 

I can reconnect it by selecting it from my list of available wifi networks. I’ve tried multiple factory resets to no avail.

It was working flawlessly for almost two years before this started happening. 

I’ve read this is a common issue. Has Google released a solution?
