Nest mini glitching

I have a nest mini that keeps glitching it keeps factory resetting then after I fix it a day later it would say it can't connect to the network this has happened 3 times it is about 20ft from the router so it can't be that idk if it is a software issue or maybe I need to replace it

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

 

  • Are there other Google Nest displays set up and working in the home?
  • Do you see another error message on your screen?
  • Is the inconvenience permanent or intermittent?

In the meantime, let's check a few things:

 

  • Test with a Different Network: If possible, try connecting your Nest Mini to a mobile hotspot to see if this situation persists. 
  • Reboot the Wi-Fi router: Unplug the Wi-Fi router from the power source for 2 minutes. Ensure that the router's lights turn off completely when unplugged.
  • Reboot your Nest Mini: This can often resolve temporary software glitches. Refer to this article: Reboot Google Nest Mini.
