For a while now, the voice on my nest speakers (all 5 of them throughout the house) will randomly change between a male voice (that I have it set as) and a female voice.
After testing various questions and commands, there seems to be no pattern. I can ask the same exact question two times in a row and get female one time and male the next. Or I can get female/male several times in a row. Or it can even switch mid-conversation where it answers and asks me a question in one voice, I reply, then it responds in the opposite voice.
All speakers have gone through being reset completely, settings have been changed, and nothing helps.
When will Google get this issue that so many out there are experiencing fixed?? I keep seeing threads just being shut down my Google people with no resolution.

I've done that.
And reboot twice, is just doesn't make difference what I do.
I've tried other solutions I had seen online, but nothing worked.

Why are you telling customers to restart all of our Google Nest speakers and displays when this thread reports that getting wrong voices for Google Assistant is "a known issue and support is looking into it"?

Hey all,
Sorry for the lack of updates here. This is similar to a trending issue on this link wherein the Assistant voice is switching from male to female. You’ll receive all updates on this issue on the main thread, and we recommend updating and checking the thread when needed.

Hey Community!
I feel VERY embarrassed for complaining about this issue, especially with all of the other much more important issues I've read in this forum (alarms not working, no video, sleep sounds not stopping, etc.).
My Nest Mini is set through Goggle Home to use the "Green" Assistant voice for speech output, which I believe is the best male voice.
Yet, when I give the verbal command: "Set a timer for 30 minutes," my Nest Mini still responds in the factory default female voice.
What's even more funny is if I request to cancel this new timer, my Mini replies in the preferred "Green" male voice.
Give it a try on your own Nest Mini. Maybe this is a digital gender-identity issue? 🙄

What's interesting is there is no update that gives any insight into the origins of the problem. All Google responses indicate that there is something the customers should be doing. Simply shifting responsibility.

Are there any updates on this? This issue has been plauging users for months now. Now that this issue has FINALLY been acknowledged by Google months later, there hasn't been any response while this issue continues on with no signs of anything improving.
