Nest minis work for 10 minutes after a reset and then glitch

For the last few months I have had an issue where my Nest Mini’s repeatedly say “there’s been a glitch, try again”. Whenever I factory reset the device they begin working again for about 5-10 minutes and then again get stuck. I contacted support and was told to buy a new device however when I did this, the same thing occurred. I was told that there might be something with my wifi settings that could fix this but internet provider is not a Google nest mini expert and does not know how to help. I have repeatedly asked for further help from Google support and my emails have been ignored. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do fix this??

Other notes- this was a gradual process in which first it only happened on one device and factory resetting it solved the issue. Then it stopped resolving the issue and then eventually started occurring on the other device as well.

Hi Help5697,

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us.

That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. Let’s check what’s going on. Since the issue is happening on multiple devices now, you can check with your internet service provider if the AP isolation setting is enabled on your WiFi router. This should be disabled. Could you also provide the case number when you contacted our support team so we can further check for you?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Juni
