Hi.
Issue: Nest skips explicit music when connected (via the Cast function from the app) to YTM.
There are occasions when explicit content can be played but it is without clear pattern (for eg, voice commands "play this on yt music", without casting sometimes works).
I checked:
Home app > Speaker > Digital well being > Restrict buttons are set to off. Strangely, it still says "Use restricted mode" but that is not a button..
Home app > Profile > Settings > Digital wellbeing- no filters are applicable for Nest.
Family link > nothing restrictive noticed there
Issue persists for quite sometime for me. After going through several posts, some from 2021, with same issue but closed without solution, I post mine again. Hopefully we can come to a conclusion..

Hey Adt90,
Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I understand the feeling when there's something not working on your device. To confirm, have you checked if the restrictions are enabled from the YouTube Music app? Also, is it happening to other music services like Spotify or Pandora?
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers,
Muddi

Hi.
Yes, restricted mode is off in the app also.
I don't use other music streaming services.
Thanks

Hi Adt90,
Thanks for checking. Have you already tried performing a complete reset after you have experienced that?

Hi. I think I did that also before. But just performed another factory reset to be sure. Checked the filters and wellbeing after the FR also - they are off.
Nest still jumps over explicit music.
