Nest speaker not charging

I have a number of google speakers. One of my original speakers has trouble staying powered. The connection appears to be loose at the socket. When I wiggle the connector and hold it, the speaker powers up but loses power if I let go. It had the original usb connection not the new pin power cord. 

is there a fix for this?

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that your Google Nest speaker does not keep on. I know that can be frustrating when your device does not work properly. Not worries; I am happy to help you! with this. Before, I need to ask some questions to better understand your situation.

 

  • Have you tried using another USB charging cable?
  • Can you see any damage on your Google Nest speaker connector?
  • Are other devices able to receive power from the same outlet?
  • Is the speaker or display plugged directly into a wall outlet or surge protector?
  • When did the issue begin?
  • Could you please send me a video showing what happens when you connect your Google Nest speaker?
