Never ending motion detection

Suddenly today my Google Nest Mini began to say "Motion detected" every time my Netatmo Camera sees a motion. This has never happened before and I've had both devices connected to Home Assistant for years!
What is suddenly happening? We cannot have Google speaking 24/7/365 every time the camera sees something moving. How can I stop this except by turning off the camera?
Please help.

I'm guessing this might be something on your Netatmo Camera. There is no way to send motion alerts to a Nest Mini or Nest Hub from a Google Nest camera or doorbell, though customers have been asking for it for years.

You could try rebooting your Nest Mini by unplugging it briefly, just in case it is inappropriately recognizing signals from your Netatmo Camera.

It turned out to be a HA automation that I accidentally re-activated. Sorry for the trouble, but thanks anyway for stepping in.
