One of my Nest Mini Gen2's has just been updated from firmware version 1.54.277099 to 1.54.279716, which is not listed on Google's "official" firmware document. I would like to know what changes have been made in this new release. For that matter, I would like to know what changes were made in every new firmware release but Google seems unwilling or unable to provide this information. Other software vendors (the ones that aren't mega-monopolies) call this a "change log". Look it up. And, by the way... #PAYSONOS

Hi,
This is a community forum supported by other users and community specialists. We don't have access to what is updated with new firmware versions.

Right. The problem is that nobody does. Google has found an ingenious way to cut support costs --- let the customers do it for them --- for free. Just call them "Product Experts" and give them "gold stars". But don't actually give them any information. Genius!!!

.Hi Everyone,
Thanks for posting.
@Cathal_S - Thanks for responding. I appreciate your help answering this thread.
@SamInPgh -- Apologies for the delayed response. As of this moment, the latest cast firmware version for Google Nest Mini is 1.54.279716. All updates are sent OTA (over-the-air) as long as your device is connected to a stable WiFi connection. These updates is for general bug fixes and stability improvements.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Princess

Hello, @Princesss . No, your response is not helpful at all because it told me nothing I didn't already know and answered none of my questions regarding specific changes and bug fixes made in each firmware release (what legitimate software vendors call a "change log"). If you really want to be helpful, find something else to do that actually benefits people and stop being a lapdog for the Evil Empire.
Best regards,
Sam
