No Greek language

I am willing to use the Google home nest, in Greek language for my family, but it is not feasible. Will you be able to give me a little more information on the subject. Thank you in advance.

Hi Nicko1,

Google Home and Google Nest devices are only officially sold from the Google store in certain countries. If a device is not sold officially from the Google store in your country then not all features, languages, music services etc.. are guaranteed to work.

Hi Jake,

Just checked your replies and I am thankful for your interest. Although, Google limitations to greek language do exist by this time that I am replying you. Other difficulties I did n't face either during the installation or use of it. We try to "speak" to google in english language only, when there is an action to be done. i.e switch on/off a device or a group etc. We are practicing our english language every day. It is fun. Thank you for your kind interest.

Cathal_s, your feedback is greatly appreciated. Although these Google nest (2) are available to Greece but the language seems that it is not supported. This is the subject that is not replied. Thank you in advance!

Google does not have an online Google store for Greece. The devices you can purchase have been imported from a different country.

The Greek language probably will not work on Google Nest devices until Google start selling devices from their own online Google store within your country.

It is certainly correct this point of view. Similarly, I bought last year a LG TV CX 2020 model, which also isn't supported by Google assistant in Greece, even that this system is available to the TV, I can't understand why this is happening to the products that are imported into Greece.

I don't work for Google myself I am just a normal user so I don't know why Google makes these decisions?

They allow the assistant on phones to communicate in many more languages than they do on TV's, speakers and displays.

It is understandable what you shared. These things you refer are already known to me. The subject is that I am trying to get an idea of how to find a good alternative solutions to overcome these language limitations and proceed further.

Until Google add support for the Greek language I don't know of any alternative solutions.
