No confimation?

As you might recall, my minis have difficulty determining off from on.

However now they have seem to have decided not to issue any confimation on occasions when asked to do so?

Do you want me to add this to my ongoing ticket via email?, just that I have not heard from them for some time? 😞

Hi Gasman,

Thanks for that. Yes, you can mention that on your previous case. By the way, do you have with you your case ID so I can check it?

Best,

Princess

I do not I'm afraid, as I deleted all the messages in the folder as it was filling up with the 'unable to play radio stations' debacle.

Hang on, I'll check online. Found it.

Only sometimes do they not bother to give any confirmation. Unable to pin down any consistency. 😞

Here is some more feedback.
Asked the kitchen mini to play some REM

It stated as normal 'here is a station featuring REM'. Then it does sod all??? 😞

Ask again and it finally plays the music.

Good day Muddi,

Nothing consistent i am afraid. Now a lot of the time, they do not even give any confirmation of some requests, like switch something off. They *might* do it, but then say nothing.
However they have got a little more alert since I bought an Echo Dot. 🙂
However that might just be a coincidence?

One of your colleagues suggested switching all of them off but one ,for a while, which is impractical TBH.
Remember this is all feedback. I am just learning to put up with it. 🙂

Today I asked the kitchen mini to set an alarm.

It heard 'play it's time', then told me 'playing songs is only for spotify premium'

Ask again and I get the music.

More feedback.

Last night I asked the bedroom mini to set an alarm for 9am.
It responded on first request that alarm was set for 9am.

This morning I woke early, so I asked it to 'Cancel the alarm'
It responds 'Sorry, I do not understand'

Asked it 3 times and 3 times it failed. Previously it would have cancelled the alarm. So I sent feedback.

Finally I asked it to 'Cancel the alarm for 9am' and then it finally managed to do so.
Now there was only one alarm. Unlike the Alexas, each alarm is unique to a device. With Alexas, so can set on one and cancel on another, negating the need to go back to the original device.

Previously 'Cancel the alarm' was sufficient to get the alarm cancelled.?
