No sound is coming out

Goggle home will literally not make a sound. Plays music but no sound is coming out. Hey Google won't even talk back to me. How do I fix this

Hi Amandapete,

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Do you have the one with a slanted top or a totally different Nest speaker? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
3. Restarting your phone might also help.

If the issue persists, you can revert your device back to its original settings by doing a factory reset and setting it back up. Here’s how.
