Nooie360 Connectivity

I’m having trouble displaying my Nooie360 cam on my Google display. I’ve tried everything from

  • updating the firmware
  • Unplugging both devices
  • deleting the Nooie app from google
  • reinstalling the app
  • unlinking the app
  • relinking the app

any advice???

Hey  Hydroponix,

 

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's see what's going on.

 

A few questions: was it working before? What's the message you're getting when you're trying to stream your Nooie360 camera on your Google Nest Hub? Also, can you view your camera on the Google Home app?

 

Make sure your devices are within 15-20 feet of your router and connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Reboot your devices and router for a minute to refresh the connection. If the issue persists, give resetting your Nest Hub a try to see if that work.

Hi. I’ve tried all the above suggestions. 

I get different errrors

- device not found

- camera offline

- or it just keeps trying to connect without doing anything

Thanks for getting back to us.

 

To make sure, did you successfully link your Nooie360 camera to your Google Home app? If so, are you able to view your camera in the Google Home app? Also, is it still working on the native app? Try changing your default browser to Google Chrome to see if that works.

Yes I’m able to link the camera to my google app. 

I cannot view the camera from my google app. I get an error saying this video stream cannot be viewed here. 

I am able to view the camera from my Nooie app on my phone.

Understood. Please note that Nooie360 camera is not officially supported by the Google Home/Nest devices. You might want to check if those cameras are compatible to set up using a third-party app partnered by Google like SmartThings. You can also visit this link for the lists of cameras that you can connect to your Google Home/Nest devices. We're always looking for ways to add more partners in the future.

That’s odd. It was working for 3 months then suddenly just stopped working.

Yikes! When did it start happening? Were there any recent changes on your network or Nooie360 set up before it happened? Could you try resetting your Nest Hub to its default settings? If you'll get the same result, please provide us the cast firmware and software version of your display.

Same thing. Didn’t help. 

google firmware: 1.56.309385

Nooie firmware: 4.1.09

Hey Hydroponix,

 

Chiming in, please remove Nooie360 camera from the Google Home app then reset it. Once done, set up your camera again then re-link on the Google Home app. If you still have the same issue, please contact Nooie360 support to check if they have recently released updates on their devices that may caused the issue. You can also check if they are getting similar reports about this.

Sorry to hear about this. Aside from Nooie360, do you have other home automation devices linked to your Google Nest Hub? Also, have you already contacted the Nooie360 support about this?
