Not receiving calls on iphone

I have a problem and when searched for it, I encountered this closed thread. So I am just copying it as it again.

When someone tries calling me via the Nest hub 2nd, my phone do not ring. But when the person ends the call on the nest, I get notification on phone  I have a missed call from Google meet(from myself). 
They can call other contacts successfully just not me.

As Community Specialists, we occasionally do a bit of housekeeping to keep the conversations in our community fresh and relevant. This includes locking threads after a period of inactivity.
 

I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. A few things: is the person that tries to contact you on your phone added as a home member? Is the person trying to contact you added in your Duo contacts? 

 

To isolate the issue you can try to video call another person added in your contacts and observe if they will get the same

Hello Juni, 

I hope that you reread the note again. It was not my thread that has been closed, it is another one thread who suffers from the issue that I am facing. So it seems not an individual issue. 
for the test you asked me to do, my nest hub has access just to my phone and my wife. And my wife’s android phone receive the call successfully. I have no other iPhones to test with.

Hi there,

 

Thanks for the details you shared. Based on it, it appears that the issue is just isolated to your iPhone. Could you check the notification settings on your phone to make sure that it's not disabled? If it's  already enabled you can try to toggle it to off then back on again then try the feature again. Rebooting your phone might help as well.

Again, I don’t know which algorithm you used to reach the result that the issue is just in my iPhone!

Also you are talking in general and not giving specific details, e.g. which app notifications you need me to check?

Any way, there is no notification settings for the Google Home App, for Meet, notifications are enabled. Toggling off/on the Meet notifications didn’t solve the problem, and also restarting my phone didn’t make any change.

Thanks for the response and sorry for the late revert. Is the issue isolated to just the video calling? Could you try the voice call feature and observe if it will work?

Dear, my device is Nest hub v2 which doesn’t support video calls since it has no cam. So my problem is in the voice calls

Sorry for the delays. To confirm, do you have a Google Assistant and Google Meet app on your phone? What country are you located in? Are you getting calls from the Google Meet app on your phone?

Yes, Google meets is installed on my iPhone, and I receive meet calls from others. But not from my Nest hub. I am from Jordan. Note that my wife receives Nest hub calls on her Android
