I read it should be possible to play different Spotify music on different google home devices (now Nest) devices in the same home.
Post (closed) said that more Spotify accounts needed to be added by pressing the hamburger on the left side, but in Android there is no such hamburger icon (amy more at least) there is only
Settings - services music - Spotify link/unlink (and you cant enter Spotify specific settings from there so mo way of adding accounts)
I Have
Family account where me and GF has one account each that we want to use, but as it is now only my account is added so if im out and play music on my phone and she is home starting to play music on google devices, my phone atops playing, same if i listen to music in one room and she starts playing in another so this MUST be solved or i can return google home products.
I have
3 nest hubs
4 home mini (1 connected via BT to a bigger HK)
1 jbl google home certified speaker
1/1 GBit fiber to an Asus router centrally placed with full reach in entire home when meassurimg Db with a phone)

Hi there,
You will need to set up different voice matched accounts for each user. A Google Home device will access the account/playlist of the person that it recognizes the voice for, If it doesn't recognize a voice then it will use the account that was used to set up the device.
Please have a look at the help center link below for more information.

SO I DO NOT NEED TO ADD BOTH MINE AND GF SPOTIFY ACCOUNT to play different music on different devices?
(sry bout caps, but wanted you to read that part at least @Cathal_S )
How doy GF access her GF spotify playlists then, as google dont have her spotify mail/account + password to Spotify?
= Please read question again and answer THE question, 🤗
As a gold product expert, Im sure you know if this function is totally BROKEN (as entire internet says) or not, thank You!
Just want confirmation on what all forums say is still valid (aka google and/or Spotify cant cooperate to make this work) or BETTER a resolution from Google experts, so i can decide if I should keep google as partner or choose one that works better (and actually care about fixing important bugs before adding new features like camera interfaces).
Right now, my Google setup is even more buggy than my Xiaomi setup. But there was one step forward in recent updates, finally i can talk to google and tell it to play music in a specific room or on all speakers. Something that has been brokem since WAY back (why i ran old Google home app (to make it work) up till now when you guys solved it, 👏. )

Hi again,
Your girlfriend would need to be added to your Google Home as an invited user, she would need to have a Gmail account and when she has joined your home she would then need to set up her voice match and link her Spotify account.
This is a community forum supported by other users and community specialist's.

It already is all that.
The question was on this part.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the help here, @Cathal_S.
@Boogieman, let’s get this sorted out. Since your girlfriend was already invited to your home, let’s confirm that she can see all your Google Home devices in the Google Home app.
Using her own phone, open the Google Home app > Tap the Devices tab, your Google Home devices should be listed. If your devices aren’t showing, let’s make sure to invite her to the correct Home structure. Follow the instructions on how to Share a home and devices in the Google Home app. Else, proceed in linking her Spotify account. Go to Settings > Under Services, choose Music > Tap Spotify.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Alex
