Playing music simultaneously on mini and wifi point speaker with out delay

Hey how do I get both my speakers, a mini and a wifi point speaker, to play music, podcasts etc. without a delay one one? One is always ahead, or behind the other.

It won’t let me make a group. What do I do next?

Hi Watumeanmis,

Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help.

Since the audio for both your Google Home Mini and Google Wifi point is delayed, you can try correcting it. Play music for your group first before following this guide: open the Google Home app > Touch and hold your device's tile > Choose Settings > Audio > Group delay correction > Move the slider to the left or right until the audio sounds in sync. Check out this support website for more information.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,
Lovely

Also thanks for that. I have tried to sync them that way, but without them being in a group, but it doesn’t stay.

Hello Watumeanmis,

Your Google Home Mini and Google Nest Wifi point need to be in a speaker group for them to play simultaneously. Here's how: open the Google Home app > Tap on the Add icon at the top left > Choose Create speaker group > Tap each device you want to add > Tap on Next then enter the group name > Save. Check out this support article for more information.

Cheers,
Lovely
