I will regularly just say "Hey Google, Play Music" Usually this just picks up where i left off, which is perfect.
However quite often recently on a Google Home mini in my office it seems to ignore the end of my command and starts playing music by the band "Muse".
The first time it did this it was annoying, but i dealt with it. Now however it seems to happen ~50% of the time unless i am very specific and speak very slowly and deliberately.
With Amazon, i'm sure there used to be a way to correct the command from within the app, but even when in the "My Activity" section i don't seem to be able to do anything like that.
I'm wondering if there's a way to block the command "Play Muse"? Or maybe i just need to create a routine where if it hears "Play Muse" it plays something else?

Hi Martynt74,
Thank you for your patience!
Unfortunately, there is not a way to block commands.
If possible, next time your device plays Muse instead of Music, could you please send in feedback? It will help our team further look into this issue.
For now, I recommend you asking your device "Play Spotify" or your preferred music provider. I just tested the command, and my device was able to play my music with no issue. Thanks again!

Hi Martynt74,
Thanks for reaching out, I'm so sorry for the late response. I don't like starting with the same song as well, so I understand your concern. I would be more than happy to help look into this situation. Let's get this issue resolved! First, I have some quick questions to get a better understanding.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,

Hi Guys
Sorry if i wasn't clear. It's not that my requests are starting with the same song. I don't mind that and often get around it by saying "Shuffle music by X" rather than "Play music by X"
The issue is that the google home will mis-hear me and pick up "Play muse on spotify" instead of "Play music on spotify" so misses the last syllable of Music.
If there was a way to just ban the phrase "play muse" then if the google ever heard that it could say it's an invalid command and i could repeat the correct input phrase.

Otherwise, is it an option to create a routine where "Play Muse" activates a routine where it just plays music. That would work.
(If you weren't aware, there is a band called Muse which is what is being picked up)

Saying "Play Spotify" works perfectly. Thanks!
