I only use the Nest Hub in the bedroom with a clock. Nothing else. I don't want to use any other functions either.
Once or twice a day, however, the screen suddenly shows a kind of cockpit with weather and other information instead of the clock. I don't want that. I just want to see the clock. Nothing else.
How can I prevent it from showing anything other than the clock?

There doesn't seem to be any way to keep Nest Hubs from going into this self-advertising mode several times a day. It's annoying.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that this behavior is a bug. Who designs something like this where the clock randomly disappears? Is there somewhere where I can report bugs?

I don't think it's a bug; I think it is quite deliberate. We get it at least once or twice a day, usually when we approach one of our Nest Hubs. I think it's actually advertisement designed to get us to use other features, to hook us into the devices.

I've sent feedback on this myself.
