Problems with Nest Audio Speakers

Hi - is anyone aware of any current problems with Nest Audio devices? All my Nest Audio devices have started playing up. I've tried all the usual factory resets etc. but with no success. Nothing has changed on my internet/LAN and I've checked the upnp/multicast settings for the router. I can complete the normal Nest Audio setup using Google Home but it hangs on final step 'configuring your nest audio' and then fails. After the fail, the device does show in Google Home but when you go to device settings for the speaker it shows an error message 'some settings are unavailable at the moment'. Is there a problem with Google Nest services at present? Are these problems related to the recent problems that Google have been reporting about Google Chromecast not working?I've tried running upnp tests on my LAN. My Chromecast device shows up but none of the Nest Audio devices are listed. Would welcome guidance on how to proceed. Thanks.

  3. Can you describe the status of the 4 LED lights on the Nest Audio devices?
  4. Have there been any recent changes to your home environment, your WiFi network, or any recent outages?
  5. Is your Google Home app updated?
  6. What's the Google Nest and Google Home Devices firmware version? You can use this Google help center article as a reference: Find your device’s firmware version.
  7. Could you please provide the steps you are taking to factory reset your Nest Audio devices?

  1. When did the issue start?

Issues have got progressively worse over last 3 months. Rapid deterioration in past month.

  1. How far from the router are your Nest Audio devices located?

1-20ft from Mesh access points.

  1. Can you describe the status of the 4 LED lights on the Nest Audio devices?

For Nest 2 devices – 4 leds on front light up in response to voice command. Leds display when volume adjusted.

  1. Have there been any recent changes to your home environment, your WiFi network, or any recent outages?

No changes to wifi network.

  1. Is your Google Home app updated?

Yes

  1. What's the Google Nest and Google Home Devices firmware version?

System Firmware: 456944 and Cast Firmware: 3.75.456944

  1. Could you please provide the steps you are taking to factory reset your Nest Audio devices?

For Nest Audio Devices: Switching mic off. Lights turn orange. Pressing and holding the center of the Nest Audio, until device will begin the factory reset process. After resest confirmation readding device to Google Home.
