Radio Default Player

I need to change default radio player app, how to do that? In the moment Tunein is default, does not work well, so I looked up everywhere but anything worked. Please help.

Hi buchmann,

You can not choose different radio services as default, depending on where in the world you live will determine what is used. You can always cast any radio station app to your device if you don't find what you want using voice commands.

Well, I live in Brazil. It doesn't find the radio station I want as action in a routine. Using a customized voice command doesn't work too. Outside routines it works.

The radio station I want is: Jovem Pan News.

I think it's an issue!

I talked to google support a few minutes ago... radios feature on Google Assistent and Home Routines does not work for Brazil. 😒

Please try using the using the 'Add custom actions' part of the routine if this is available for you.

This may not be the answer you're looking for. For Radio we have only TuneIn as a supported partner. 

You can use these sample voice commands:

Listen to closest radio station by name

“Play Mega 97.9 FM," 

“Play ESPN Radio," 

“Play Mega 97.9 FM on TuneIn,” 

Listen to radio station by frequency

“Play 98.5," 

“Play 98.5 on TuneIn,"
