radio does not work on other devices, if cast nest camera to display.  This has been ongoing for months, but no interest in sorting.  Have to stop casting Nest camera to get any radio on other Nest products.

Hi there,

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I am terribly sorry to hear that you have had such a hard time with this! I would love to look into this issue further and help find a solution for you.

  • Which Nest camera product device do you have?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you taken thus far?

Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.

Best Regards,

Brad.

I have the Nest Cam Outdoor (not the IQ), i have two of these.  When i have it casting to my Google Nest Hub, my other devices (Mini and Home) will NOT play any radio for more than one second (all other questions are answered).  If i stop casting to the display, the radio comes back.  If playing radio on my Nest Mini, this goes off if request Display to show camera.  This has only happened for the past few months, was fine before that.  I did phone Google about this within a few days of it happening, and they said they would look into this issue, but not a thing done yet.  So i can not leave my camera on display, if i want a radio station !  I have tried reinstall etc but have seen that others have this issue.  Google seems to want to add more features all the time instead of sorting out problems created.

Hello there,

I can see that this issue has definitely been tough to deal with. I apologize for the inconvenience that this must have been for you. I do hope that this issue is fixed. I would suggest just restarting your devices as that may help to clear out the issue. Please let me know if you still need assistance.

Best Regards,

Brad.

All device's have been restarted, reset and reinstalled, i have done everything this end.  It seems Google knows of the issue but not fixed it.  Why does it take months ?  No point me buying all these Google devices if not able to use with each other.
