From my experience this Nest Speaker well it's the biggest you know what, I received a new router this pile of you know what just will not connect , I have done everything possible ,and I have an IT background , from resetting the device rebooting the router reinstalling the Home App it will not connect , it's a hockey puck now , this is always a problem with Nest Speakers , the problem with inability to clear the cache or settings , normally when you reset a device it returns to it's original default settings from the factory thus it should allow to reconnect , normal devices would or should ask you for new router pass key , not the Nest that's where it fails , speaker sounded okay when it worked , I have tried everything and anything just not worth stress anymore , its not bad product but the way it was configured internal as mentioned the developers and Google certainly dropped the ball or hockey puck on this 😁 funny being an IT person you hate being defeated by Technology but I ran out of ideas white towel is slowly being picked up and waved 🤣
